Cat & Mouse.
- As patient of a person as I am… I don’t like waiting for things that won’t happen. It’s not necessarily a waste of time, but the feeling of disappointment afterwards is terrible.
I barely chase a girl when I like her. & when i do, I put in as much effort as I can. I’ve loved & lost. But, there’s a reason for everything, so there must be a reason why the past relationship didn’t work, & me & a girl are happening at the moment.
But what I don’t get, is getting lead on. Like, I dislike when girls do that. They lead me on, & then… They don’t want something serious. Which bothers me.
Just let me take care of you, make you happy, & I know, you’ve been hurt before. I have too. But those mistakes lead us to our corrections. Am I right?
I know you’ve done this before, I can tell.
But should I save you? Because people are telling me not to. If i do, & everything goes wrong. Who will I complain to?
We both have our guards up. We’re scared. Just kiss me already. Forget about what’s happened, & worry about right now.
Because I’m ready for you, & I’m just waiting for you.
Patience is my biggest virtue.
& you’re the one that makes my feelings feel true.
